Yū Asagiri (あさぎり夕 Asagiri Yū?), born Yuriko Takano (高野夕里子 Takano Yuriko?), who also writes as Yū Asagiri (朝霧夕 Asagiri Yū?), is a Japanese mangaka from Tokyo, Japan. She made her professional manga debut in 1976. Asagiri received the 1987 Kodansha Manga Award for shōjo for Nana Iru Majikku ("Seven Colors Magic").[1] Her other works include Golden Cain, Midnight Panther. She provided the art for Kirara Boshi no Daiyogen, with the story by Kyoko Mizuki.
