The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are four humanoid humanoid turtles, practicing ninjutsu and various Japanese maartial arts. The franchise was created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird from the USA in November 1983, and debuted as a comic in May 1984.
