Tanoshimi is a part of Random House a US based publisher. Tanoshimi is an arm of the United Kingdom branch of the company and is used for the publication of new English LanguageManga titles.[1] Its relationship with Random House is the same as Del Rey which releases the same Manga titles for its parent company in the United States.[2]
The company came into existence in June 2006, and has since released ten new Manga titles and over 50 books into the UK market.[3] Since 2009 Tanoshimi no longer licenses manga volumes for distribution in the United Kingdom. To continue to follow manga volumes previously released by Tanoshimi, imports can be made from Del Rey in the United States.[4]
