Anime from manga policy[]

  • What's the policy about anime adaption of manga? (We also have a anime wikicity.)

The anime wiki has long been abandoned, as the manga was before I took over. Since most anime comes from manga first, and sometimes manga comes from anime, and its all basically the same type of artwork and storytelling just different format, you can put anything anime related on this wiki also. How do I get rid of the notice at the top?[]

I erased MediaWiki:Common.css ‎and MediaWiki:Common.js to stop it from having the message about this wiki being abandoned and linking to the other place, since as of today, I am the administrator, and it is no longer abandoned. What else do I have to edit to get that thing to stop appearing? Dream Focus 23:08, July 11, 2010 (UTC)

I found my answer on a help forum, and changed it so a new message is there, saying where the original content came from. Dream Focus 17:01, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

Thousands of articles here[]

On the Wikipedia's export page, I entered in various categories to get manga articles and things related to them. The main category was far too large a file for me to import here, I having to just copy batches of names into the exporter at a time, and produce smaller files to load up. Hoping I got them all. Sometimes things would time out, or just stop working. I am unable to get the entire histories of everything in batches, because the file size would be too large, so I just get the most recent version. Getting it all one by one isn't really possible, although I do it at times with certain ones. Some series on their own have histories which would create a file far too large to import. Anyway, if anyone ever creates a bot to port things over properly, let me know. Dream Focus 17:01, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

Getting all the templates from Wikipedia to work[]

I just imported over Template:Infobox animanga from Wikipedia, and all of the templates used within it. Hoping that'll fix some infoboxes not loading up. Report any broken or missing templates at broken templates and I'll see what I can do. Dream Focus 13:39, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
