Sue Ulu is an American voice actress specializing in English voice dubs for anime. She is best-known for voicing the role of Dr. Ritsuko Akagi in the English dub of Neon Genesis Evangelion. She also has performed local theater in the Houston, Texas area. She moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to pursue her acting career, where she has appeared in a number of films and in live theater. She currently lives in Santa Monica.

Ulu is of a Turkish background which gave her a higher than natural pitched voice than most Americans. Due to this she attended speech therapy sessions to lower her voices pitch, as stated in the audio commentary for episode 13 of Neon Genesis Evangelion by Matt Greenfield and Wade Shemwell.[1][2]
