The Oni-Con is an anime convention created in 2004 in Houston, Texas. This is Houston's first major anime convention and, despite being a relatively new anime convention, their list of past guests is very notable including the likes of Scott McNeil, Johnny Yong Bosch, Greg Ayres, Taliesin Jaffe, and most notably Yoshitaka Amano.

Oni-Con has been held in three different places since its creation. Oni-Con 2004 was held at the Sheraton North Houston. Oni-Con 2005 was held at the Grand Plaza Hotel, and Oni-Cons 2006, 2007 and 2008 were held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Oni-Con 2009 was held at the Marriott, Westchase.

It occurs in the month of October except for 2008 when it was moved to December due to Hurricane Ike.
