Naru2u

Naru2u is an annual weekend anime convention held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.^[1] Naru2u is run by the Ottawa area company Naru's Sound & Lighting.^[2]

History[]

The Convention began after what was intended to be a one year break of the AC-Cubed convention in the Ottawa area. Many Ottawa area anime fans contacted the owner of Naru's Sound & Lighting, who had provided most of the equipment for AC-Cubed, asking him to run his own convention to temporarily fill the void. Although at first reluctant, it was eventually decided that an attempt would be made. With the successful first year and the announcement that AC-Cubed would not in fact be returning, Naru2u has become a permanent fixture in Ottawa.
