My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア Boku no Hīrō Academia?) is an ongoing Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014,[1] and has been collected in 1 tankōbon volume as of August 2014. The story follows Izuku Midoriya a normal kid born without a Quirk, but dreams of one day getting one and becoming a worlds greatest hero.

Plot[]

Izuki Midoriya was just a regular middle school student in a world where people with "quirks" (also known as superpowers) were the norm. However, he dreams of one day becoming a hero.

Volume 1 reached the 7th place on the weekly Oricon manga chart and, as of November 9, 2014, has sold 71,575 copies.[2]
