  • Yamaguchi's nick name is "saru", which means "monkey" in Japanese; translated into English, his personal web blog is titled: Monkey's Kingdom. Apparently this comes from his love for the monkey character in the classical Chinese story Journey to the West. He has actually voiced the monkey's role in an adaption of the original story, Monkey Typhoon and played the role in various stage adaptations.
