Isutoshi (いすとし?) is a mangaka, creator of erotic comic series Slut Girl and the non-erotic manga called Tende Freeze! (てんでフリーズ!?). He started his career in 1994 producing work that would later be published in dōjinshi by the Gerumaru (ゲルマル?) circle. His stories typically involve both erotic and humorous situations, focusing on characters' personality and sexual interaction during the story.
During the interview series NO COMIC NO LIFE for Webだよ (Webdayo) ISUTOSHI said he began his career at a printing coming. He later moved on to a PC gaming company (Falcom). While at Falcom he did the artwork for the series Brandish. Later moved on to a commercial gaming company (Square). He was placed on a development team while at the commercial gaming company, but during this time the scenario writer handed in no scenarios for him to draw. "There was no work when I went to the company, so for the first year or so I just hung out with the other staff members on the same team. It was like I was getting paid just for going to press a time card, and it was the best pay I had ever received. I felt a little bad indeed (laughs)." The free time led to him to drawing and publishing doujinshi's, after remembering some coworkers from the PC company would do the same. Because fighting games were popular at the time he went with that, and because it was doujinshi, he drew them erotic. This was also during the time when the video game industry was transitioning from pixel graphic to 3D polygon graphics. This change in the industry lead him to changing careers from video game art to manga. "It was like doing architecture in a digital environment, and to be honest, it didn't suit me. Then, Fujimi Press asked me if I would like to draw an original work. I thought it was a great opportunity and if I could be a manga artist, I would like to give it a try, and that is how I ended up making my debut. Manga work is a one-man job, so I have to take on the responsibility all by myself, but in return, the credit is mine alone, so it is rewarding in the sense that it gives me a sense of accomplishment." Slut Girl was published in COMIC Penguin Club Sanzokuba from 1997-1998.
After Slut Girl Isutoshi published his second professional series High School Planet Prowler in COMIC Gekiman from 1998. It ran for 15 chapters in concluded in 2000.

Isutoshi has produced a number of short works for hentai anthologies such as SNK Monogatari, Bruem - King of Fighters and Gensen Sexy Fighters, some of which were collected by Gerumaru in the Renge dōjinshi. Isutoshi has also produced short works published in the monthly hentai magazine Comic Kairakuten Beast.
