Ikkicon is an annual three-day anime convention created in 2007 in Austin, Texas and has taken the place of the now-defunct Ushicon. The convention was traditionally held in early February through 2009 and has been hosted by three different venues: The Woodward Hotel & Conference Center (2007), The Doubletree Hotel (2008), and Hilton Austin (2009, 2010). Ikkicon 4 was held on January 1-3, 2010 at the Hilton Austin - Downtown[1].

Many of the attendees cosplay while attending the convention[2], and events include guest and fan panels, workshops, the masquerade, karaoke, live music concerts, an art show and auction, an "Anime Idol" contest, a poetry slam, and an anime music video contest.
