Established in 2002, Icarus Publishing specializes in localizing hentai manga for the English market. The publisher's first release is the anthology AG, which contained both original American comics and translated Japanese material. The anthology is ongoing, and is now focused exclusively on Japanese manga. In December 2007, Icarus Publishing started releasing AG on BitTorrent peer-to-peer file-sharing network.[1][2] On October 24, 2008, started releasing AG Digital through "e-publishing pioneer DriveThruComics". [3]

In late 2004 Icarus Publishing began releasing trade paperback collection of stories which were serialized in AG. AG is the longest running manga anthology in North America.[4] AG is announced to end at issue 110 but is being continued online through direct downloads and BitTorrent peer-to-peer file-sharing protocol.[5]
