Goku Midnight Eye (Midnight Eye ゴクウ Midnight Eye Gokuu?) is a manga series by Buichi Terasawa about a detective named Goku Furinji (風林寺 悟空 Fūrinji Gokū?) who gains a cybernetic eye implant that can control any computer system. The manga has been published in English by ComicsOne and DrMaster.[1][2]
The manga was adapted into a two-part original video animation directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri. Urban Vision released it on VHS. However, the company has since lost the rights to the OVA.[citation needed] Manga Entertainment released it in the United Kingdom and Australia. Manga Entertainment and Pathé released the anime on DVD in France. It only recently hit DVD in Japan.[citation needed]
