Cho Mashin Hero Wataru (超魔神英雄伝ワタル Chō Mashin Eiyūden Wataru?) is an anime series by Sunrise Animation. It is a sequel series to Mashin Hero Wataru.
The 51-episode series began production on October 2, 1997. Sunrise credited "Hajime Yatate," Shūji Iuchi, and Hiroi Oji for the story. Iuchi directed the series.[1]
A fourth grader named Wataru returns to Shinbukai. The Donarukami family invaded Soukaizan, and Wataru and friends Himiko and Shibaraku plan to stop the family.
