Artiswitch (Japanese: アーティスウィッチ Hepburn: Ātisūwitchi?) is a short Japanese original net animation (ONA) series produced by Sunrise in collaboration with Japanese talent agency AsobiSystem. The series highlights Harajuku's fashion, art, music and different creators and artists who are active in these fields. It was released from May to September 2021 on YouTube.[1]

- Nina (ニーナ?)
- Voiced by: Utano Aoi[2]
Nina is a fashion-forward witch and the owner of the Ura-Harajuku boutique, which she runs alongside her familiars, a pig and a chameleon. Her powers grant her the ability to help others grant their deepest wishes.
- Akihiro (アキヒロ?)
- Voiced by: Goto Yutaro[2]
Akihiro is an aspiring fashion designer who spends his days drawing clothes but lacks sewing skills. He dresses in bright, mismatched clothing in order to stand out and looks down upon others he sees as lacking originality.
- Haruka (ハルカ?)
- Voiced by: Honoka Kuroki[2]
Haruka is a tall, androgynous dance student who receives praise from her fellow students due to her dancing skills and her handsome appearance, though she secretly wishes she could be feminine.
- Mana (マナ?)
- Voiced by: Riko[2]
Mana is a girl who secretly desires to be a rock musician, but chooses to go along with trends instead because she fears judgement from others.
- Ruru (るる?)
- Voiced by: Rinne Yoshida[2]
Ruru is a cynical, sullen Gothic Lolita with suicidal tendencies who separates everything into two simple categories - things she “likes” or things she “hates.”
- Tiara (てぃあら?)
- Voiced by: Yume Miyamoto[2]
Tiara is a professional model who harbors secret romantic feelings for her colleague, Saki, and only entered the modeling industry in an attempt to get closer to her. She dresses in onee-gyaru clothing.
- Saki (サキ?)
- Voiced by: Haruka Ishida[2]
Saki is Tiara's coworker and her love interest. As Tiara later discovers, she lives a promiscuous lifestyle and has no interest in committed relationships.
Production and release
On May 14, 2021, Sunrise and AsobiSystem announced that their Artiswitch project is getting an original net animation (ONA) series produced by the two companies. It is directed by Kazuma Ikeda, with series composition and screenplay written by Erika Yoshida, original character designs drawn by Hiromi Matsuo, and clothing design by Miki Aizawa. Rasmus Faber composed the music, with Akiko Fujita serving as the sound director and Motoko Marui serving as the art director.[2] It was released on Artiswitch's official YouTube channel from May 28, 2021 to September 10, 2021.[3]
The series' theme song is "Tobu, Saihate." by yonkey featuring Kana Adachi. Each episode features a different insert song performed by musicians who have collaborated on the series.[4][5]
